1. Data controller

The controller responsible for personal data collected through this Site is Cupriax SpA, whose identifying and contact details are set out above.

This Privacy Policy is governed by Chilean Law No. 19,628 on the Protection of Private Life and, once in force, by Law No. 21,719 regulating the protection and processing of personal data.

2. Data we collect

We only process data that users voluntarily provide through the contact form on the Site:

  • First name and surname.
  • RUT (Chilean tax identification number).
  • Email address.
  • Mobile phone number.
  • Job title and company name, where the enquiry is made as a business client.
  • The content of the message the user chooses to write.

3. Technical and browsing data

As with any website, the hosting server automatically records technical data about visits — such as IP address, date and time of the request, browser used and page requested — in its activity logs. These logs are used exclusively for security, fault diagnosis and abuse prevention purposes.

The Site does not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain, so browsing the Site does not generate requests to third-party servers.

4. Purpose of processing

Data provided through the form is used solely to:

  • Respond to the user's enquiry or request.
  • Prepare and send quotes or commercial proposals where these have been requested.
  • Maintain the contact required during the commercial process and, where applicable, during project delivery.
  • Comply with applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations.

5. Legal basis for processing

Processing is based on the consent of the data subject, given by voluntarily completing and submitting the contact form, and on the need to manage the pre-contractual or contractual relationship arising from that request.

Providing the requested data is voluntary but necessary in order for us to respond: without it we cannot process the enquiry.

6. Disclosure to third parties

CuprIAx does not sell, rent or transfer users' personal data to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

Data may be processed by the hosting and email provider that supports the Site, acting as a data processor and following CuprIAx instructions. Data may also be disclosed to the competent authority where there is a legal obligation or a judicial requirement.

If a user chooses to contact us via WhatsApp or our social media channels, the processing of that communication is additionally governed by the privacy policies of those platforms, which are outside the control of CuprIAx.

7. Retention period

Data is retained for as long as the commercial relationship or interest in CuprIAx services continues and, thereafter, for the periods required to address potential legal, accounting or tax obligations.

Once those periods have elapsed, or where the data subject requests deletion and no legal retention obligation applies, the data is deleted.

8. Security measures

CuprIAx applies reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. These include encrypted transmission via HTTPS across the entire Site and restricted access to the mailboxes where enquiries are received.

No system is entirely infallible, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed; nevertheless, we work continuously to maintain and improve these measures.

9. Rights of the data subject

Data subjects may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access: to know what data we hold about them and for what purpose.
  • Rectification: to request correction of inaccurate, outdated or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: to request erasure of their data where processing lacks a legal basis or is no longer necessary.
  • Objection: to object to the processing of their data in the cases provided for by law.

10. How to exercise these rights

To exercise any of the above rights, simply send a request to contacto@cupriax.cl, indicating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing information that allows us to verify your identity.

Requests will be answered within the periods established by applicable law and at no cost to the data subject.

11. Minors

The Site and CuprIAx services are aimed at people over 18 years of age and at companies. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we detect that we have received data from a minor without the authorisation of their legal guardian, we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, showing its last update date.

Where changes are substantial and affect data already collected, we will provide notice through the available contact channels.
